Payment, Cancellation & Telehealth Terms
Please read these terms before booking your appointment with The Human Flourishing Practice™. By booking, you agree to the terms set out below.
Payment
- To secure your appointment, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Payments are processed securely through our online booking system.
- Fees for each service are displayed during the booking process. Professional consultancy fees for schools and organisations are available on request.
- The Human Flourishing Profile™ is a fixed-fee assessment package. Payment for the package is made at the first booking, and your remaining package consultations are then booked at no additional charge.
Cancellations & Refunds
- More than 48 hours notice: full refund or appointment credit.
- 24–48 hours notice: a 50% cancellation fee applies.
- Less than 24 hours notice: the appointment fee is non-refundable.
- No attendance without notice: the appointment fee is forfeited.
- Consideration may be given in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Dr Carol Schultz.
- If Dr Schultz needs to reschedule your appointment, you will be offered an alternative time or a full refund.
Telehealth
- Appointments are conducted via secure Telehealth (video) unless otherwise arranged.
- A secure video link is included in your confirmation email.
- Please ensure you have a private space, a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.
- Telehealth is available Australia-wide. Phone sessions can be arranged where video is not practical or preferred.

- This practice provides specialist consultancy and elective counselling. It is not a crisis or emergency mental health service.
