Payment, Cancellation & Telehealth Terms

Please read these terms before booking your appointment with The Human Flourishing Practice™. By booking, you agree to the terms set out below.

Payment

  • To secure your appointment, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Payments are processed securely through our online booking system.
  • Fees for each service are displayed during the booking process. Professional consultancy fees for schools and organisations are available on request.
  • The Human Flourishing Profile™ is a fixed-fee assessment package. Payment for the package is made at the first booking, and your remaining package consultations are then booked at no additional charge.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • More than 48 hours notice: full refund or appointment credit.
  • 24–48 hours notice: a 50% cancellation fee applies.
  • Less than 24 hours notice: the appointment fee is non-refundable.
  • No attendance without notice: the appointment fee is forfeited.
  • Consideration may be given in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Dr Carol Schultz.
  • If Dr Schultz needs to reschedule your appointment, you will be offered an alternative time or a full refund.

Telehealth

  • Appointments are conducted via secure Telehealth (video) unless otherwise arranged.
  • A secure video link is included in your confirmation email.
  • Please ensure you have a private space, a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.
  • Telehealth is available Australia-wide. Phone sessions can be arranged where video is not practical or preferred.

  • This practice provides specialist consultancy and elective counselling. It is not a crisis or emergency mental health service.
  • If you are in immediate distress, please contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 or emergency services on 000.
